6030 - Budget Adjustment

  1. The Board of Trustees must approve increases or decreases in the total amount of the operating budget. The need for this kind of adjustment would normally result from a change in anticipated revenue, and would also require a corresponding change in budget expenditures.
  2. The Board of Trustees must approve increases in the number of authorized permanent personnel positions.
  3. Transfers from the contingency account may be approved administratively according to established procedures, with the understanding that the President will report transfers of this nature to the Board of Trustees in the following month.
  4. All other changes, within or among cost center budgets, administratively as required, may be made according to established procedures.
