Qualifications

Eligibility

  • Tuition only for non-credit classes; scholarship does not apply to mandatory fees
  • Tuition, contact-hour fees and the technology/enrollment fees are included for credit courses
  • PEA 115 and any other fees are not covered by scholarship

Register

  • Non-credit: Register any time that non-credit registration is open for scholarship to apply
  • Credit: Register on or after the announced registration date for the semester for scholarship to apply
    • Summer 2024 Emeritus Registration Date Is April 15
    • Course selection may be limited and based on availability
    • You can register for classes as soon as registration begins but scholarship funding is not guaranteed, and you must pay for the class before the normal payment deadline
    • If you register early and pay for a class, you may receive a refund if the class has not been filled by the announced registration date
    • If the class fills by the announced registration date WCC will not award the scholarship to that class, even if a seat opens later
      • You will receive an email after 4 p.m. on the announced date notifying you of whether the scholarship will apply to your class
      • If you choose to stay in the class, you will not receive a refund
      • If you drop the class before the deadline, you will receive a refund approximately one month after the semester begins
      • If you would like to register for another class that has not been filled, contact the Cashiers Office by phone at 734-973-7703 by 4 p.m. on the same day you registered to ask that the scholarship be applied to the new class and avoid being dropped for non-payment
