Each year, the WCC Foundation helps over 1,000 students pay for college with scholarships funded by generous donors. These scholarships are designed to remove financial obstacles and support student success.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, you must:
- Demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA (see “How to Apply” below)
- Be a high school senior or a current WCC student
- Be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen
- Have at least a 2.0 GPA in classes related to your program of study
Note: If you’re a new student, you can submit high school transcripts or have an instructor send your interim grades
How Much Can You Receive?
Scholarship amounts are based on your enrolled credit hours:
- 12+ credit hours → $1,000
- 9-11 credit hours → $750
- 6-8 credit hours → $500
- 1-5 credit hours → $250
Scholarships are available each semester, and you can apply for both fall and winter at the same time. To renew your scholarship, you must complete at least 67% of your attempted courses and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
How to Apply
WCC Foundation scholarships are now available through Scholarship Universe, an online platform that connects you to multiple scholarship opportunities.
- Submit your FAFSA – WCC’s school code is 002328.
- Log in to Scholarship Universe and complete the WCC Foundation Scholarship Application.
