New State Scholarship Helps High School Seniors Earn A Degree

Choosing Washtenaw Community College with the new Michigan Achievement Scholarship has its benefits.

You can earn your associate degree at a nationally-recognized community college with access to more than 130 aid-eligible degree programs, with 50 being completely online!

And, your dollars will go even further at WCC because we have one of the lowest tuition rates in the state and country. Plus, WCC’s smaller class sizes, top-notch instructors and academic support services will help set you up for success.

The scholarship dollars allow full time students to save more money earning an associate degree at WCC and the opportunity of providing additional funding if you choose to transfer to an in-state four-year university to earn a bachelor degree.

Beginning with the high school class of 2023 and beyond, graduates attending WCC may be eligible to receive up to $2,750 per year in scholarships from the state.
