Welcome to Washtenaw Community College’s ROLL's (Ready for Online Learning) course; your introduction to online learning. Are you curious about online learning and wonder what it is all about? Do you wonder if you have the knowledge and skills to be an online student? This ROLL course will help you answer those questions, and more. Good News! Completing this course will fulfill a key requirement for you to be an online student at WCC.
Where do I access ROLL?
- A word from a few of WCC's online instructors sharing some advice about what it takes to be an online student.
- A form to share some information in order to continue and complete the entire ROLL course.
ROLL focuses on:
Academic and Life Skills, Commitment, Organization, Time Management, Stress Management, Technology Skills, WCC's Services, and so much more.
This ROLL course takes approximately 1-2 hours to finish and you must allow adequate time for videos and animation activities to play completely as you progress through the course. Jumping ahead and not allowing content to complete, may cause errors, forcing you to start over or not receive credit for modules completed.
If you do not wish to take this ROLL course, but still want to explore online learning at WCC, and perhaps come back later to finish this Ready for Online Learning (ROLL) course, then we will be here for you.
Completing the form when asked to share some information in order to continue, will allow you to complete the entire ROLL course and have your completion recorded.
