Esports Camp

This class is your gateway to the thrilling world of competitive gaming. If you have a passion for video games, technology, and STEM, this immersive program covers the basics of Esports, effective practice, and the art of high-stakes competition. Through interactive lessons, hands-on gaming, and plenty of fun, you will not only improve your gaming abilities, but also discover the wide range of career opportunities in the Esports industry. It's an opportunity to boost your skills, make new friends, and dive into the exciting world of Esports. Join us for an unforgettable experience where gaming and learning go hand-in-hand.

Brixology

Brixology Camp sets the foundation for our next generation of makers! Children learn about different types of engineering and then team up to construct a different engineering-themed project using LEGO® bricks. We'll learn about aerospace engineering while assembling a space station. We'll explore mechanical engineering as we build boats and vehicles. And that's not all! From carnival rides to drawing machines, mechanical animals to truss bridges, your future engineer will build upon their creativity to solve real-world design challenges, while developing their problem-solving and team-building skills. Let the tinkering begin!

Eureka STEM

Inspire the inventor and scientist in you! Campers will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and the most important of all - their mind! With a little bit of ingenuity, children will create catapults and forts, and even construct their own working Light Sabers to take home! While Thomas Edison said "invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration", this camp is 100% FUN!

Video games, animated films, VFX and virtual reality have been brought to life through the visual power 3-D animation. In this workshop, you'll learn how to get a jump on learning the entire 3-D production pipeline (modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, rendering, and compositing) through six focused classes over two weeks.

Future Space Explorers

June 24 - 28

We've teamed up with Mad Science Detroit and NASA in a quest for exploration! We’ll take a voyage of discovery into the atmosphere and beyond as we explore planets, moons, and other space phenomena in our solar system. Things will heat up as we examine the sun and other stars and discover the difficulties of space travel! Kids will get a firsthand experience of the challenges of living in space as they try assembling a satellite while training to be an astronaut. For added fun, we’ll learn about the various technologies that make space exploration possible while bouncing lasers around the room! Kids will love to build their own Mad Science rocket and participate in a real “NASA” style rocket launch.  Campers will receive many cool NASA take homes.

Health Care Career Exploration

August 5 - 9

Explore the medical field with a focus on health care professions in a hands-on and fun environment. This camp will give you a CPR introduction and an understanding of what’s involved in the medical setting with nursing and other health professions such as physical therapy, dietetics, and more.

Underground Explorers

Aug 5 - 9

Register

Kids will learn about archaeology and the techniques scientists use to excavate long lost cities. They will discover ancient civilizations and the tools and artifacts used in everyday life. They also study bone fragments, pottery shards, amber deposits, and fossils to understand what they can tell us about history. What's more, each class includes a make and take-home project, like a fossil reproduction, an amber time capsule, and coins from around the world!
