Each year hundreds of new faces grace the college’s campus, but this semester someone extra special will be joining the crowd.
Alpha, WCC’s new mascot, was designed by Digital and Media Arts student Erik Morris and will officially make his debut campus wide on apparel and assorted merchandise at the college’s bookstore. Morris’ artwork was submitted as part of a student based contest to design a look for WCC’s “wolfpack” leader.
“We had some really great images submitted,” said WCC Sports Coordinator Erica Lemm. “We put all of the submissions to a vote within Student Development and Sports and are very happy to be able to feature Erik’s work.”
For his winning submission, Morris will receive a brand new tablet courtesy of WCC.
