All students should apply for financial aid. Why? Even though your financial need determines some of the aid you can receive, your financial aid award isn’t always based on just income.

A significant portion of WCC students receive some form of financial support from a variety of sources. The main types of financial aid include:

There are some smaller, lesser known state and federal programs and private loans that also may help you pay for school.  Be sure to review these additional sources of financial aid.

Each program has different requirements, so make sure you get familiar with them all—you could qualify for multiple types of aid.
