Adding a Class

You may add a class if space is available until 8pm the night before the class begins. Log into the WCC Gateway, select MyWCC, go to the Student Services tab and select the Student Services Dashboard, then click Registration to proceed. View a helpful registration how-to guide and video tutorial.
Adding A Class After the Class Starts: Restricted Registration
Students may register for a class after the class has begun with instructor permission.
Permission to add after the class has begun is at the discretion of the instructor. The instructor is not required to grant permission. If the instructor grants permission, you will receive notification via your WCC email, so please check it frequently as permission may expire in 48 hours. If you received permission, log into MyWCC, go to registration, and register for the class as you normally would. If you have any issues, please contact Student Welcome Center for help.
Prior to Add Deadline
- Log in to MyWCC, go to registration, and register for the class as you normally would.
After Add Deadline
- Student should call (734-973-3543) or visit the Student Welcome Center (2nd floor of Student Center).
Note: all classes added after the add deadline will have a $25 per class late fee assessment.
Section Changes
After the drop deadline, students changing from one section of a course to another section of the same course offered at a different time (section change) should call or visit the Student Welcome Center so that a withdrawal does not go on their record. **Please note in order to do a section change the classes must be in the same session/part of term. (Ex: they are both 15-week classes).**
